Cook: Healthy & Nutritious Home-Cooked Food Made Possible with WHISK!

Have you heard of WHISK? This is the latest concept introduced in Malaysia, where busy modern working adults can whisk up home-cooked food without going through the hassle of preparing the ingredients beforehand. WHISK delivers fresh ingredients in pre-portioned package with the specified amount, so all you need to do is follow a given recipe and cook your meal. The recipes are easy and you can whip up a delicious meal in no time. Plus, they also deliver any orders within two hours from the time you call for it.

These days, I get so busy at work that I feel so tired the moment I get home, and the least I feel like doing, is to prepare a meal from scratch. I find that I end up ordering a lot of meal deliveries and indulging in fast food, which definitely isn't healthy in the long run. Now, that I've discovered WHISK, it is a great and convenient option for me to save money while having healthy, nutritious meals.




All the ingredients are delivered in a box which looks organised and neatly packed. It is recommended to refrigerate it immediately to preserve the freshness of the ingredients.



Here I have a colorful recipe card, with a step by step instructions which are clear and easy to follow. They also help to organize your diet by including the important nutrition facts in back of the recipe card.


This is a video, demonstrating how the ingredients were labelled properly and beautifully arranged in the box. The shelf life is about 3 days, so make sure to consume, as soon as your receive the items. 

LET'S PREPARE THE FARFALLE WITH SPICY BABY OCTOPUS!


1. Firstly, boil the pasta in water with some salt for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking.


2. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the onion, garlic, red chilli flakes for 30 seconds.


3. Add the baby octopus, tomato sauce, chicken liquid and cook over low heat for 1 minute.


4. Add in the pasta when the sauce is done.

5. Add the seasoning of salt and pepper.



6. Garnish with the parsley, basil, chevril, seaweed & sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!

Within less than 10 minutes, I'm able to whip up a healthy and delicious meal, just by using a saucepan and some kitchen utensils! You don't even need to be an excellent cook to prepare a meal for yourself. Everything is properly measured beforehand, so just pour the ingredients in and follow the recipe which is provided.



The dish tastes surprisingly good, even for a newbie cook like myself. The sauce was flavorful and the garnish really brought out the umami flavour of the dish.
